Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how Wearluxe processes personal data when you visit wearluxe.ch, create an account, design a product or place an order. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG).

What data we process and why
- Orders: name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number if given, ordered products, designs and payment status. We need this to produce, ship and invoice your order and to meet legal record-keeping duties (10 years for accounting records).
- Customer account: login details, saved addresses, saved designs and order history, kept until you delete your account.
- Design studio: images, logos and text you upload or create. We use them only to show you a preview and to print your order. Designs of completed orders are kept for repeat orders and complaints for up to 2 years; you can ask us to delete them earlier.
- Contact and team-order forms: the details you enter and any files you attach, used to answer your request.
- Newsletter: your email address, the time you signed up and confirmed. We only send newsletters after you confirm by email (double opt-in). Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
- Website use: technical data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, needed to run the website securely.
Service providers we use
We share data only as far as needed with these providers, who process it on our behalf or as independent controllers:
- Hostinger (website hosting and email sending; servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Stripe (card payments, TWINT, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Revolut Pay) and PayPal (PayPal payments). Card details are entered directly with the payment provider; we never see or store them.
- L-SHOP-TEAM Schweiz AG, Baden-Dättwil, our textile supplier. If an order is shipped directly by the supplier, your name and delivery address are passed on for that purpose only.
- Swiss Post and other carriers, to deliver your parcel.
- Google (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center) to understand how the shop is used and to measure advertising. These tools only run if you allow them in the cookie banner.
- Meta / Instagram, if we show our Instagram feed on the website.
Some providers, such as Google, Stripe, PayPal and Meta, may process data in the USA or other countries. Where these countries do not have adequate data protection recognised by Switzerland, transfers are based on the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout, login and design studio. Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you agree in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the website.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, receive it in a common format, and object to processing. Write to info@wearluxe.ch. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
Security
The website is encrypted with TLS (https). Access to customer data is limited to what is needed to fulfil orders.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services change. The current version is always published on this page.
